About
MeshBox Play started as a group chat where a few friends kept sending each other links to weird little mobile games. At some point we figured we might as well write the impressions down properly instead of losing them in a scroll of messages.,The site is small on purpose. We don't chase every release. Someone on the team installs a game, plays it for a few evenings, and only then do we decide if it's worth a full write-up. If a game bores us after ten minutes, that goes in the review too.,When we pick titles for the catalog we look for something specific to talk about: a control scheme that clicks, a track design that surprises, an arcade loop that keeps you tapping 'one more run'. Genre doesn't matter much to us, feel does.,Everything you read here comes from real sessions on real phones. No press junkets, no ghostwriters. Just people who like games and have opinions about frame drops and touch controls.
Lukas Brenner — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games for about eight years and still gets grumpy about laggy touch controls. He runs the editorial side and plays mostly racing and arcade titles.
