Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that doesn't insult your intelligence. You build a small party, pick skill trees that actually branch in meaningful ways, and head out into a hand-drawn world with a surprising amount of lore tucked into corners. Combat is turn-based but brisk, and there's real satisfaction in setting up a combo across three characters.
What kept me playing was the crafting and gear system. Nothing feels like filler, every upgrade changes something you notice in a fight. The story leans on familiar fantasy beats but the writing has a dry sense of humor that grew on me. Menus can get a little dense, and the first hour throws a lot of systems at you at once.
