Tide of Banners

Tide of Banners is a strategy game with patience baked in. You manage a small coastal settlement, balancing resources, defenses and the morale of your people while waves of threats roll in. It's more about smart placement and long-term planning than fast reflexes.

The interface is clean for a strategy game on a small screen, which is no small feat. I liked that setbacks aren't the end of the world, you can rebuild and adapt. It does ask for a real time investment, and if you want quick sessions this probably isn't for you. But for a lazy afternoon it's genuinely absorbing.
